Wow, what an exciting and busy week! In honor of National Prevent Animal Cruelty month (April), we had a visitor from the Humane Society come talk to the first graders. They learned all about what the Humane Society does and learned about dog safety. We even met one of their 4-legged employees, Maddie! Continuing with the theme of animals, on Wednesday we got to meet a Ball Python named Stella! A first grader in Ms.Pawol's class had his grandpa visit with his snake. We got to learn all about Stella, her eating habits and her growing habits - we got to see her largest molt! And as a grand finale to our animal week, on Friday we ended the week with a special visit from our Yoga teachers - Ms, Lynea, Mr. Jim and we even got to meet Manda B and Junebug from the videos! Thank you for all of the donations of recyclable  items - we truly experienced the magic of "one man's trash is another man's treasure" by using the items to create solutions to real world probl...
